C230K (supercharged four), two door hatchback - Excellent value, paid, out the door with tax, $27,741.74 (MSRP $29,370, paid $25,500 plus taxes). It has the cloth seats we wanted (cooler in hot weather). The hatchback makes it radically more useful than a car with a trunk. It has been reliable, needing a leak where wiring enters the tranmsission fixed under warranty, and an antilock wiring glitch fixed under warranty. Recently, the front suspension rubber bushings failed, but the car is 10 years old (built in summer of 2002), and rubber does not last forever. One plastic part in the sunroof track broke, but I was able to repair it.

Excellent value - I paid, out the door $29,422.53 (MSRP $32,755, paid $26,759.20 plus taxes) for an Eddier Bauer with the V8 and rear wheel drive. I then installed (myself) a fancy Pioneer AVIC-Z1 navigation system with XM, NavTraffic, and a rear view camera. It has been very reliable, needing some transmission work under warranty for a hard downshift to 1st when stoppng, a minor part replaced by recall, a worn door lock motor (I lock and unlock far more than average), a radiator, and a few coils when the spark plugs were changed.
