2000 Jet Black BMW 540iT Sport Optioned Wagon

This 2000 540i Wagon was bought recently to replace the '95 525iT Wagon I've pretty much drove the wheels off of as a daily driver work car. The 540i has the sport package which includes sport seats, shadowline (flat black) trim and M sport wheel options. Previous owner added M badged 18" polished wheels with Continental tires. I've changed the hood/trunk emblems that were going bad to black and changed the hood chrome grilles to black to match the car. Haven't done anything mechanically yet but may increase the already adequate V8 hp sometime in the future.

Things I've fixed since I bought with 119K miles...
Dead coil on #1 cyl at 120K miles

Things that are broken now...
The typical dead pixel dash display
MKII Nav CD player is dead which renders main computer display inoperative
Bank 2 O2 sensor is bad
One rear cupholder is broken
Drivers rear seatbelt jammed and won't pull out
Minor oil leak started around 120K miles

1995 Alpine White BMW 525iT Wagon

I found this car used locally in 2004 and bought for $6800 which I think was a steal at the time! The first thing I did was install a class 1 trailer hitch so I can tow single and double jet ski trailers and it does that well with no complaints. As for the engine, it's been mechanically sound with few issues. Since I do drive hard though, I tend to go through brakes and tires often. As for brakes, I tend to use the $250 slotted drilled ceramic kits offered on ebay since they're inexpensive and stop the car well. As for tires, I don't remember what was originally on it but I had a set of Nokians that I really liked but since P225/60R15 tires are really hard to find these days, I had to settle for a set of Falken (Tailand) tires from Firestone on the set that replaced the Nokians. Those Falken tires wore out in like 20K miles and since those are no longer available, they gave me Primewell (China) tires under warranty but I'm not holding my breath that these will last any longer. Since Ohio roads are some of the worst I've ever been on, it also has some suspension issues which need addressed soon. For the abuse I give it though as a daily driver it's held up well!

One front Bilstein strut cartridge blew seal out again at 180K miles
Front strut cartridges (160K)
Aux water pump replacement (160K) - cost $400 inc labor and I think I was robbed on that one!
Valve cover gasket (160K)
Spinning ign key (138K)
Replace gas door hinge Two brake jobs so far
Two batteries so far
Fixed pin that fell out of drivers armrest

Things that are broken now...
Drivers door latch mech currently broken and door won't open!
Tail Lights in hatch (never have worked, wires broken)
Drivers door stop (common)
High setting on drivers heated seat
Radio intermittently cuts out
Sunroof drains occasionally plug causing water leaks
Computer/radio lights intermittently cut out
Pin on rear wiper sticks in so won't engage wiper motor if hatch isn't shut perfectly
Drivers headrest stuck all the way up
Mirrors don't work
Most bushings in suspension (especially rear) are going out
Pass side gas tank strap broken (a ratchet strap has been holding the tank on for about a year now!)
And I'm sure there's more...
